A perfect opportunity to post is the arrival of new yarn! We just received our Plymouth order and we have several new yarns for people to check out. Pictured below is the new Rockin Sox that is a blend of bamboo, superwash wool and nylon. We are still waiting for some colors to arrive.

Well, we finally got in more colors of our Hempathy, but we are still waiting on 2 final colors. We also just got in our Opal cotton sock yarn and new colors in some of of the wool sock yarn.

In beading news, we have packaged some of our crimp beads, headpins, earwires, etc, in bulk for a super discount over buying them singly. We haven't finished getting them on the floor, but be sure to ask next time you are in.

Spring yarns have arrived! Well, most of them, anyhow. There are still a couple of shipments we are waiting on but they should be here soon.
We have a ton of new cottons and blends available now for your summer knitting. Most of the new yarns are on our stacked display but we ran out of room and some are intermingled throughout the store.


Now, Julie does want me to mention that we have some new beads as well, but you will have to come in to check those out because there are too many to cram in here.

Wow, what a weekend! Now that we are recovering from the women's fair in Wichita, we can get around to some things we needed to do. It seems as if we had just recovered from moving into our new space, and then we needed to prep for the fair. So... the class schedules are out and the blog is updated!

We also got in more yarn and beads! We have a ton of new chains and the headpins & crimp beads to go with them. Some of the new metals are antique brass, gunmetal, antique copper, silver plate, and antique gold.


On the yarn front, we got in more Opal sock yarn. This stuff flew out of here the first time we got it, so we ordered plenty this time. Or so we hope!

Woot! I'm on a blogging roll. Here are some pictures of the new Lorna's Laces that we got in. The cubes on the bottom left are Misti Alpaca, but the rest are Lorna's Laces Lion & Lamb and Shepherd Sport. These pictures do not do the yarn justice. You have to come in to see it.
The Shepherd Sock is grouped with the lace and other sock yarns. Here are just a few of the colors that we have:

And speaking of socks, we will be starting our Second Saturday Socks class in February. This class will be held monthly and will teach different techniques for socks every month. Our first class will be for beginners and will include an afterthought heel. It is on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 9:00am, hence Second Saturday Socks! Call and reserve your spot.

YAY! We are finally done with the move. We are still organizing and whatnot, but the hard work and heavy lifting are done.

The space looked so big before we moved all of our stuff over. Now we are wondering how we are going to organize all the stuff that has yet to come in.

We do love all of our new seating areas though. SO please come by and check out the new space before the new smell fades away.
